We are proud to announce that CVW CleanTech was voted the top pick by investors who attended CEM's 8th Annual Florida Capital Event. Our team participated in 18 one-on-one meetings with investors on Saturday, along with Friday's networking reception and Sunday's group activities. The selection as top pick was made by investors who, after more than almost 800 meetings across all presenting companies, voted to identify their highest-conviction investment opportunities.
The Company was profiled by the Investor Breakout newsletter which was shared with investors, conference participants, and the newsletter’s subscribers. Key factors driving our selection as top pick include:
- Creating the world’s first diversified cleantech royalty platform in the rapidly growing clean technology market, projected to reach $3.3T next year;
- Our strategic $14.0M royalty investment in Northstar Clean Technologies (Northstar), projected to generate long-term average annual cash flows of $1.8M;
- Our advanced royalty opportunity pipeline exceeding $300M in transaction value, with over 30 opportunities under evaluation, and
- Our proprietary Creating Value From Waste™ (CVW™) technology with the ability to generate outsized returns for our shareholders.
Q3 2024 Financial and Operating Results
The Company recently announced its financial and operating results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2024. Key highlights from the quarter include:
- The closing of our royalty transaction for $14.0M with Northstar, which generated $85,000 in revenue during the quarter. Construction on Northstar’s Calgary facility continues to progress well, with the building structure now completed, and major equipment delivered and being tested. The project remains on track for commissioning to commence in early 2025;
- The closing of a successful brokered private placement, initially announced at $15.0M and subsequently upsized to $16.8M due to strong investor interest, and
- Our CEO Akshay Dubey addressed the House of Commons’ Standing Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development, where he emphasized the need to implement solutions like the CVW™ technology to produce valuable resources while supporting Canada’s decarbonization goals.
Immediately after quarter-end, we welcomed the Fort McKay Métis Nation to our framework agreement with four other Indigenous and Métis communities. The addition of a key community from the Athabasca region strengthens our ability to create value for industry, and generational wealth for local Indigenous communities, through the deployment of our CVW™ technology.
